连接号与破折号

连接号/破折号（Dashes）看起来像连字符（hyphens），但更宽。em dash（破折号）是最宽的一种。连接号/破折号的用途与连字符不同。我们使用以下两种类型：

连字符（Hyphen，-）

对置于名词前的复合修饰语使用连字符。 置于名词前的复合修饰语需要使用连字符，以将其与单个修饰语和名词区分开。不要对置于名词后的复合修饰语使用连字符。连字符常用于复合词和表示范围。

使用 em dashes 来中断单句中的思绪。 可以在句子中使用前后带空格的 em dashes（—）或双连字符（--）来中断句中的思绪。单连字符（-）（即连字符 hyphen）通常用于书写复合词/修饰语，切勿用于以此种方式中断思绪。

破折号可以成对使用（代替括号）或单独使用（代替分号或冒号）。
